History: She was born into a rich family. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Elegant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Marigold embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
