Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A true patriot, Vondal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Vondal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is lean but muscular and dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is singed and shortened. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Dalgal has worked very hard to control his curse. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
