Personality: He is a Bricklayer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Mugrunden was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and balancing his hectic life and new bricklayer responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a mite stocky and usually wears his white robe and has his bastard sword always slung over his shoulder. His blonde hair is cut short. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Krakhorn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a red tunic with pastel highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed red hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fulbar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Fulbar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Fulbar decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: She usually wears her black robe and has her longsword always slung over her shoulder, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'6" when asserting herself. She has brass crest. She has red eyes.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a rival would like her out of the picture
