History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Navigator like his mother before him.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: The child of a Animal Trainer, who enjoyed hunting, Breena was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she is content

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her hair is dark red, silky, and of moderate length. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Uzza was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.
