History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
