She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Helen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
