History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Avelina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Avelina. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Damakos grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Wrenn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Wrenn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Mason.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
