Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Gardain was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gardain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Dell hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Servant. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.
