Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Malquis's homeland. Malquis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
