History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is greedy

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is content; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: To be a Seamstress again; and further expansion of business

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
