History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older woman who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, she is not a threatening figure. Her head has been shaved. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Faral reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
