Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This fat western woman has a bulbous nose and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bricklayer business.

History: Felosial was born the youngest of three triplets. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and someone believes her a fraud
