History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in a small island village. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by her family
