Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Leaf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born into a rich family. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Kiirith was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she wants revenge against giants
