Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her golden hair is still thick. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with yellow lining and desert motifs. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears suspenders and brown workpants. Her shirt is tan, and she wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. Her black hair is greasy and uncared for. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Kristryd wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
