History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Jillian was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jillian's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
