History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Melech never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Buvvie lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Buvvie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
