Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is black and curly. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Meriele was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Phann fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Balam was born the youngest of three triplets. His childhood dream was to be a Bowyer, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She wears a simple blue robe with violet stripes complete with hood. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her black hair, when down, is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
