History: She is a Slaad in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Caeldrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she seems to be bored by most things
