Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

Personality: Siffress is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Siffress never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts
