Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Menny embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this western woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: She is a Performer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He keeps his long red fur kept up in a rat tail. His ears are large.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 17. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
