History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Kallista has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to unite with her brother

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A true patriot, Carrie would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
