Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He very much looks the part of a Stableman. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is an amazing painter.
History: He was born in a small forest village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Balimaar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is content

Description: She stands about 6'6" and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her rusty crest is long and unkept. Her eyes are likewise red.
Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carpenter, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
