History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Faral grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has worked as a Sailor like her mother before her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
