History: Orryn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Orryn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Orryn. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Gale learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
