History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Adventurer, but she got bored and became a Seamstress. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His cinnamon fur is braided into rings. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aura is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Stableman like his father before him.
