History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Serpent grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She has worked as a Map Maker like her father before her.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
