History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Personality: Balam wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Bryseis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and wears blue trousers with tan and pastel striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Andraste grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Andraste. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
