Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Sapply reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sapply fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She has done her best to style her chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in a small forest village. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Merla was born with her mother's beautiful face. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.
