So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Shifting is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born in the south. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
