History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Cartwright like her mother before her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Gerbo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gerbo was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
