The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gimble was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Gimble was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Pikar was born the youngest of three triplets. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
