History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Halander was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Halander's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
