Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She wears her blonde hair down. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Avelina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to unite with her brother
