History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Mordai was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: Kelter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
