History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When Pennie reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Beggar. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a blue shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and brown pants. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Body Guard who has hired him part-time. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
