History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Bree was taken on many hunting expeditions. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Bree's homeland. Bree decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To be a Masseuse again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Pyra took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
