Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vanuath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Vanuath and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Revenge; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Trym wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Trym's homeland. Trym decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrin. He's also a talented Sellsword, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to be a sellsword again
