History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Shadow was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shadow decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Cairn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a grey coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon her head. Her hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. She has gray eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Kilia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Kilia reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
