Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Mardnab lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Flask is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
