History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by her family

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Emerald was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age her father died while driving off some drow. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scythe use. After months of barely getting by, Emerald managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and revenge
