Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'8". She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and halfling compassion

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, grey shirt, and pastel tie. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aramil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Aramil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aramil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.
