History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Abalaba was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Herbalist. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Herbalist, and she later adopted a second son.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
