Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Baker job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is an amazing painter.

History: Traulam lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Traulam was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
