Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Fabien does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.
