Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is dressed in an above average manner. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Bucklal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Bucklal was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Bucklal reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She tends to wear a green poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has moderate length scarlet crest. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to unite with her brother

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He has shaved his head bald. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He is an epitome of beauty. His hair is long and brown with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His silver hair is long and unkept. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and to reunite with his old friends
