History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Katherine was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Nala was taken on many hunting expeditions. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
