History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Peren was a troubled youth. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Carpenter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Rangrim was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Ootah lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dalaba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.
