History: Gifted from a young age, Gardain studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gardain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gardain. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: Werydd was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Shoemaker soon after.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Gifted from a young age, Azza studied abroad. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Baggi and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
