History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Fisher like his mother before him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Actor for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
